Good morning!

So, here’s the pitch: In addition to the Day Before Thanksgiving Community Dinner on 11/23, we are also hoping to offer an Open Market that day.

Last year, the Day Before Thanksgiving marked the beginning of the incredible partnership we have deepened with the community at Zion Lutheran. They do not host their Thursday afternoon food shelf & free meal the week of Thanksgiving, and a lot of the neighbors who utilize that resource just us at that dinner for a meal last year.

This year, we would also like to be able to offer them groceries. Not only do we want to offer a great selection of groceries and produce and pantry staples to the community, we also want to showcase the Open Market concept to everyone!

The Day Before Thanksgiving is our busiest Community Dinner of the year, so this is an ideal opportunity to have a lot of neighbors see what we are creating and curating through this Patreon page.

What do we need from you?

1. Show up! Place a preorder for the 23rd.

2. Vehement anti-Venmo guy Colin finally set up a Venmo account. @Chef-Collective-1123. Send $11.23 to that Venmo. Encourage others to Venmo $11.23. 100, 150, 200, 300, people making a one-time Venmo contribution will fund an incredibly complete and voluminous selection of nourishment to be offered to the community before the day of thanks. We know that the monthly sustaining supporter concept has been confusing to some. So, maybe you can all get your networks and friends to make a one time contribution for this event.

3. Spread the word! Share the posts we have put up on Instagram and Twitter! Make your own posts. Encourage others to join us on the 23rd! “Pay what you want/can” GF, Vegan, Nut free 5 course meal!

4. Continue to encourage others to join you as a monthly sustaining patron!

There it is.

Thank you,

Zachary, Colin, and John
